Hello everyone and welcome to the fourteenth installment in my Artist of the Week series, this week we have CieMie.
CieMie is an 18 y/o Russian artist hailing from New York, combining various styles of music from Christian Hyperpop to Alternative Rock, Chris made his debut in 2019 with the release of his debut single “Life”, since then he has gone on to release 34 singles.
Aside from his singles, CieMie has also released a total of four albums, three eps, a collab album with his friend and artist MASO and was also featured on the 2023 album Young Pop Renegades, Vol. 2, amassing over 400k streams on Spotify, CieMie is an artist you don’t want to miss out on.
CieMie has spent a lot of time crafting and perfecting his own unique sound which he calls ciemiecore, he is also a part of the Indie Pop group Young Pop Renegades, consisting of thirteen artists and spearheaded by EDM and Urban Pop artist Matthew Parker.
CieMie is a trailblazer when it comes to the CHP, better known as the Christian Hyperpop scene, having made it in the summer of 2021, at a time when no one else had made that specific genre.
With the release of his latest EP which is also a collab release with his good friend and fellow artist Alvin Cedric, entitled pivotal avenue, CieMie shows no signs of slowing down with plenty more up his sleeve for 2024, CieMie is an artist you wanna keep your eyes on.
