BenRodz’s Artist of the Week: kiddell

Hello everyone and welcome back to another installment in my Artist of the Week series, been busy with work and other things that’s why there’s like a month’s difference in between the last one.

With that being said let’s get to it, this artist is someone I’ve known of for a while and it recently occurred to me that he’s never been on this series and I knew he would be a dope option for the series.

Kiddell is an artist hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, having gotten his start in 2019, he’s dropped a total of 25 singles with his newest song “got time” which just released this past Friday, 11/14/25, fresh off performing at Outlandish Fest, a CHH festival set in Fort Worth, Texas, also dabbling in voice acting.

I took some time to ask kiddell about his musical inspirations/influences, what made him start to make music, what his goal is and what new music he’s working on, and this is what he had to say.

I have so many musical influences that it’s hard to single out just one. Believe it or not, I’m a huge fan of ’80s and ’90s music, and I draw a lot of inspiration from that era.

I’m inspired to create because music gives me an outlet to be creative and to express what the Lord has been placing on my heart in each season.

Ultimately, my goal is to help draw people closer to Jesus. A few years ago, my answer might’ve been different, but at the end of the day, that’s the real purpose behind why we’re here.

Right now, I’m working on a couple of EPs filled with songs I’ve been developing for a while, and I’m excited to share them with you all soon.

With a unique flow, sound and Christ centered lyrics kiddell is an artist you don’t want to sleep on, I’m excited to finally have him on this series and help shine a light on his artistry.

As always if you’re rocking with kiddell make sure you drop him a follow here and stream his music here, with a combined total of over half a million streams on Spotify alone, kiddell shows no signs of slowing down.

He also has a clothing brand that he originally started whenever he did meet ups in Dallas for creatives from 2018-2020, beginning in late 2024, he launched it online and it’s been going strong ever since, you can find them on social media at odd sxciety.

I want to say a huge thank you to kiddell for being so helpful and willing to be featured on this series and also thank you to Trackstarz for allowing me to take my time and create this platform, this is the last installment for this year and it will start up again next year.

I have some ideas for some end of the year articles, I also have some plans for tweaking this series for when it starts up again next year.

I appreciate everyone who’s read this far and has constantly shown me support on this series, until next time God bless and I hope you have an amazing rest of the year.
