Hello everyone and welcome to the nineteenth installment in my Artist of the Week series!
I was super busy with work last week and the artist I wanted to get wasn’t able to do it so I had to postpone it to this week, I might turn this into a bi-weekly segment instead of weekly, y’all let me know which one I should do.
Without further ado let’s get to it, this week we have grantdakidd, Grant is a really good friend of mine and a super talented, extremely humble and nice upcoming Christian artist.
At eighteen years old Grant is showing no signs of slowing down, hailing from Kansas, Grant first started releasing music when he was 15, and he’s improved with every release, with a sound reminiscent of artists like The Kid LAROI and Jude Barclay, he takes that sound and makes it his own.
Grant first debuted in 2021 with the release of his debut single “Dark Night”, constantly improving with each release Grant is an artist you don’t want to miss out on with Christ centered lyrics as well as songs about relationships he brings a fresh and unique sound to the scene.
Having befriended and collaborated with many fellow Christian artists including the aforementioned Jude Barclay, his best friend HYLEM, simplyollie, SiahThyLegend, Alvin Cedric and CieMie.
On May 31st, 2024 Grant got the opportunity to perform his new song “Midway Drive-In” live at Refuge Nights in Gonzales Louisiana.
