Hello everyone and welcome to the eleventh installment in my Artist of the Week series!
This week we have Issac Mansfield, a young Christian Hip Hop artist hailing out of Florida.
Issac made his debut in CHH in 2022 with the release of his single “Speed Dial”, with his Christ centered lyrics, unique sound and catchy beats Issac is proving himself a force to be reckoned with.
As of this year, Issac has released three albums, three eps and twenty four singles, his debut album OUT THE GRAVE! was released in 2023 as a collaboration with his friend and fellow artist Vennisay.
In 2023 Issac released his first EP entitled From A Boy To A Man Vol. 1, the first volume in a three part series, Issac uses them as a metaphor for his faith, how God is changing him from a boy into a man similar to what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 13:11, “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things”.
Issac released his third studio album this year, entitled Last But Not Least, based off of what Jesus said in Matthew 19:30, “But many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.”, one of the songs that stood out the most to me is “Room For You”, a powerful song about making room for God and giving everything to Him.
Issac has collaborated with several CHH artists including De La Cruz, Shayyn!, the aforementioned Vennisay and Grxxt.
Issac is an artist that deserves your attention, dropping consistently with a new song dropping this Friday called “5 STARS”, so make sure you keep an eye out for that!
As always my goal with this series is that you would discover a dope Christian artist that maybe you’ve never heard of before or never really checked out, as well as good clean music you can add to your playlists.
