Hello everyone and welcome to the fifth installment in this series!
Today I chose to cover someone who’s kind of new to the CHH scene but I really believe he’s going to go far, he’s someone I’ve gotten to know over the past couple of years before he even released his own music.
So without further ado let me introduce you to Cousin Rickie, the cousin of fellow CHH artist Aklesso, while his music may be a bit different than that of his cousin the message is still the same.
Rickie is a Christian artist hailing out of Florida, he made his debut as an artist featured on Aklesso’s 2022 single “Tango”, after this Rickie took some time to craft his debut single “You Ain’t” which released in September of 2023.
Leading up to the release Rickie won CHH media outlet Fazbreak’s contest earning him a spot at opening up for his cousin Aklesso’s event Foolie Friends and Family.
With his genuine lyrics, dope beats and a wide range of inspirations Rickie seeks to change the standard of CHH by setting a new bar, full of creativity, a passion for honoring God with great music and art and with plenty up his sleeve for 2024, Rickie is an artist you don’t want to miss out on.
Although he’s only released one single, he’s proven that he’s here to stay and that he’s here to change the standards of CHH, if you rock with his music make sure to drop him a follow here, he’s got plenty more planned for this year and beyond so make sure you keep an eye out!
