This single I just dropped is called “A Nation Torn” because that’s what I believe the current state of this nation is. Even though this song speaks on these recent events, this sadly has been going on for years, this emotion, these tears, these obstacles, the hate, the rage and the persecution for us in america. This single is a lump sum of thoughts that I’ve gathered by scrolling through social media, watching the news & my personal feelings! I see the chaos, the uproar, the unrest, the panic that has been widespread for some time now but at the end of all of that, I want us as a nation to understand that we may be torn but light can always pierce through darkness! This single is a cry to our God, I want us as a nation to understand that we need Jesus at the end of the day but I also want to be relatable and show everyone that even the “highest” christian & “lowest” sinner still have moments of uncertainty. I just recently performed this single live & I’ve gotten so much support on it! I believe this is a song for the NATION!
