Single Review: “Abba Remember Me” by CLF West
Reviewed by Ryan Righteous

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing “Abba Remember Me” by CLF West.  When I first pressed play on Abba Remember Me by CLF West, I wasn’t prepared for the emotional weight it carried. The title alone hinted at something deeply personal, but the execution? It hit me in the chest. I’ve had the pleasure of speak with CLF over the phone last year.  It gave us both the chance to share our hearts and for me to get the know the heart behind the man.

From the first few bars, you can tell CLF West isn’t just rapping — he’s pleading. The song feels like a prayer wrapped in hip-hop, a moment of desperation and vulnerability channeled into music. The beat supports his smooth West Coast vibe, yet it’s mellow enough, giving him just enough space to pour his heart out without distraction.

Lyrically, he’s calling out to God with sincerity — “Abba,” the intimate name for the Father — asking not to be forgotten in the chaos of life, which we all need to make that plea. There’s a rawness in his voice that makes each line land harder. You feel the weight of every word, especially when he raps about life’s struggles, doubt, and the desire for divine validation. He’s not preaching; he’s testifying.

What I appreciated most is the honesty. There’s no polished mask or gimmick here — just real faith, real questions, and a real hunger for God. You don’t have to know CLF West personally to connect with this one. If you’ve ever prayed through pain, this song will meet you right where you are.

I haven’t had the chance to sit down with CLF West for the Independent Artist Spotlight yet, but after hearing this? I definitely want to. Abba Remember Me is more than a track — it’s a moment of spiritual reflection that sticks with you long after the final note fades.
