Man, make way for Lil Luke! Adonias ain’t got nothing on him. I just watched the official music video for “My God Freestyle”, a response to Adonis’s “My Man”. The first reaction was an eye-opener! I wasn’t expecting young talent to come at me like that. What a remarkable gift to be so young and yet so on fire for the Lord. I only wish that when I was his age, I had half the swagger Lil Luke has! I can tell Luke is the “Real Deal” with his raps and that he puts time in effort into honing his craft. When you see someone his age, rapping and recording the first thought you want to jump to in your mind, is to wonder who might be pulling the strings. Well, I tell you from the looks of things, it seems to be nothing but the Holy Spirit. In this video, you get a double dose of great visuals equally complimented with the bars.
In a side-by-side comparison, you can see the real raw talent that Luke has versus the talk track from Adonis over a beat. Give Luke the same budget and allow him access to the same resources that Adonis has, and the world would see that the clear #1 between the two isn’t even a contest. Aside from having Hip Hop’s best-selling rapper, Drake as his dad, I don’t think Adonis would be rapping and racking up views like he is. However, having “The” source, Abba Father as your daddy puts Luke ahead for all eternity.
I hope that all of CHH will support Luke’s video and help him to meet and surpass the 3 million plus views that Adonis has reached. If not for anything other than aiding in his efforts to go out and tell the world how great Jesus is. I’m proud of this young man for his grit, dedication, and determination.
