The 23rd Super Bowl Gospel Celebration had something a little different this time around. For this celebration, Lecrae was the host of a CHH cypher that featured some the sharpest lyricists and the sauciest of rappers in this scene.
Different labels, collectives, and corners of Christian Hip Hop were thoroughly represented at this cypher. The First Lady of God Over Money, A.I. The Anomaly, set the cypher off with a barrage of sharp lyrics and then passed it to Not Klyde. Then indie tribe stepped up as Jon Keith came and “knocked with my feet” before stepping back and Wande came and killed it. nobigdyl. and 1K Phew rounded out the cypher doing what they do.
There were so many quotable bars and shining moments throughout this cypher that no one artist outshined the other. As Lecrae said on social media, “This was a win for CHH.”
