Broward County artist JUSTCALLMEDT continues to not only rep his county and state, but he takes well known instrumentals and flips them for his own purposes in a way that’s inspiring.
The CHH world suffered s loss with the passing of Eric “Professor Biz” Vaughan Brown a little while back and many are still grieving. Brown was DT’s best friend, so the loss rocked him to his core, and he did what he does best: pour his heart out on the track. The loss of Biz had DT thinking about legacy and what it actually mean to leave one. He came to the conclusion that a legacy isn’t what you leave for people, it’s what you leave in people.
This record, “Let Go My Hand Freestyle,” based on J. Cole’s song of the same name, finds DT venting as he explores life, death, legacy, and ultimately pays homage to one of his closest friends.
The freestyle is available on SoundCloud, Audiomack, and YouTube right now, so make sure you run those numbers up and support JUSTCALLMEDT. What do you think of the record, what’s your legacy going to be?
