Friday, Andy Mineo released a music video for the his new single “MPJ Freestyle.” This video was directed by Jonny Clay and brings to life the idea of the forthcoming project ‘Neverland 2.’ The first sound we hear in the video is a loud crash and cut to a shot of Andy on the ground with what used to be a glider. The video follows Andy as he goes back to the drawing board to devise a better glider. In typical Andy fashion, he did leave some Easter eggs littered throughout the video. One that stood out was a note that said “Jolly Roger 2.0 loading..” This could be an allusion to ‘Neverland 2’ because the name of Captain Hook’s ship is the Jolly Roger.
The video follows Andy as he breaks open his piggy bank to use his last few dollars to invest in his dream(there’s a word in there somewhere) and made a much better looking glider. You have to watch the video to sea how it turns out for Mineo. What did you think of the song and video?
