Wande Isola, better known as Ms. “Blessed Up,” recently dropped a remix to “Blessed Up.” This single and music video were released a year to the day after Wande’s debut single, “Blessed Up,” was released. When you think about all of the things that have occurred in Wande’s career since that time, there’s no doubt that she’s “Blessed Up.” To celebrate the anniversary of this single, she tagged in Reach Records elder statesman Lecrae for a verse on the remix. Ms. Isola also got Transformation Church’s Pastor Mike Todd to hop on the track with some words of encouragement near the end of the song.
Throughout this video, Wande highlighted several black owned businesses, several were founded by black women, which makes sense as Wande is all about women’s empowerment. Check out the song and video below, and make sure you run up the streams and downloads on this single. In the words of Lecrae, “Our First Lady got our First Lady on her playlist!” What did you think about the song and video? Are you ready for more music from Wande?
