For the last few years Reach Records has upheld their tradition of releasing a new song on January 16th, affectionately known as “116 Day.” Today is no different as the record label released the song “Still 40 Deep” featuring Wande and Hulvey. This track pays homage to song “40 Deep” featuring Trip Lee and Tedashii, which can be found on Lecrae’s 2010 released album ‘Rehab.’ The song “40 Deep” actually samples Lecrae from the first song “Souled Out” on his first album ‘Real Talk.’
Almost eleven years later, and the new generation of the Unashamed Movement is here to carry the torch to stay they are “Still 40 Deep.” Check out the song wherever you find music and check out the official lyric video below, which features some vintage performances from Lecrae.
