Today, March 27, in the year of our Lord two thousand and twenty, a miracle took place. Armond Wakeup has finally released the single “The Dreamer, Too” a record that has been finished since 2015. If you’ve been following Armond for a long time, then you are probably familiar with this song. This song is the sequel to “The Dreamer” which was on Armond’s ‘Kairos’ released back in 2013. Armond recently mentioned finally releasing the single when Native Tongues Ohio, a safe space for creatives, used the song in their recap of their recent event that had Wakeup as their featured artist. What may have sped up the release of this single is how much his supporters supported his music during the one day that Bandcamp waived their fees so 100% of the proceeds went to the artists. Although this record was made in 2015, it still sounds dope now and Armond chalks that up to, “When your art is submitted to Christ, the Creator of creativity… it’s impossible to sound dated.” Check the single out below, make sure to purchase and run them stream numbers up to convince Armond to release some other records he’s holding onto.
