JØSEPH is a rapper from Carlisle, PA and has started to make noise in the Lynchburg, VA area from his college: Liberty University. JØSEPH just recently released a highly anticipated single called “Myself” featuring Orlando rapper Jekasole. He explained to us that this song is dedicated to “The times when I was at the age of 9 and dealing with rejection and depression because I didn’t understand why people seemed to always see me as lesser… I felt like I had to prove myself to people who already made their decisions on how to treat me”.
Now JØSEPH is back and better, not only making improvements and growing a lot as a Christian but also as an artist; continuing to share his experience with God and combined it with his love for Hip Hop.
“I finally feel like my mentality has changed from ‘why do they dislike me?’ To ‘why does HE love me?’ And because of that, I have healed from feeling bad about myself to now feeling strong. Not because of myself but because of God who is in me. So, I wrote this song.”
