What’s going on everyone!! I apologize for the radio silence last week. Refreshment is needed from time to time. I wanted to encourage us all this week around keeping the faith. Keeping the faith means fighting the good fight of faith, as the Bible tells us in 1 Timothy 6:12. In life, we are surrounded by turmoil, and the enemy loves to prowl on us, knowing how powerful we are because of Jesus. Even through the hardest of times and the lowest of lows, keep the faith.
Our faith is a gift from God Himself. It is not something to just push to the back of our minds except in times we need it. We are to live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). Faith is a deep hope that somehow, God is working things out on our behalf for our good. The hard part, though, is that sometimes think work out differently than expected. It’s okay to be frustrated with that. This is where renewing your mind comes into play because as we align our hearts with God’s heart for us, we are renewed with peace as we know that God will fulfill His promises to us and through us. Take hope in that!!
I really encourage everyone reading this, that you’re not alone in this walk. God is constantly fighting on your behalf, even despite what circumstances look like. To those dealing with negative thoughts, seek God. It sounds so cliche, but it’s so true. Those negative thoughts may not leave right away. That is okay. Keep being faithful in drawing close to God. He is willing and able to be your strength, and someone you can lean on for guidance. Also, find a solid community of people who will point you closer to God over telling you what they think. Be rooted; stay planted, and keep the faith. You’ve got this, and God has you right where you are for a reason. Continue to grow and be rooted in joy.
Much Love,
Ryan W.
