Crayzee Joe Gets Personal with National Debut Single, “So Real,” Featuring Thi’sl and Young Noah, Releasing January 12, 2018
“This song is very personal to me,” says Crayzee Joe. “I’m talking about real life issues I’ve dealt with and so are the other artists on the song.” When asked what about his inspiration for the song, Crayzee Joe replied, “I got this beat and just started writing and these things I dealt with just came out. I wanted to talk about things I’ve been through and wanted this song to help others dealing with anger, hate, anxiety, depression and more.” Because of his relationship with artists Young Noah and Thi’sl, he believed that they would add even more to the effectiveness of the song by talking about some of their personal struggles, and they definitely did not disappoint.
The single was recorded in Atlanta and St. Louis and mixed and mastered along with additional production by four-time Grammy Award winning engineer and producer, Dru Castro (India Arie, Mary J Blige, Usher and Lecrae) for Castro Music, Atlanta, Georgia.
