The Bible says ask and you shall receive, but sometimes what you ask for isn’t what you really wanted. This may have been the case when Loso and Bdot faced off on the Fade 2017 Battle Rap card. The footage was dropped on Christmas Day and is probably one of the best gifts a Christian and fan of battle rap could ask for. Bdot had been talking really recklessly about wanting to battle Th3 Saga, but it was never going to happen. Loso made no bones about wanting to battle Bdot as he mentioned it in his 2017 Rapgrid Freshman freestyle. At long last the two faced off in what is arguably one of the most important battles in recent memory. For those who are unaware, there has been a shift in Black Millennials leaving the Church and joining more conscious pro-black movements. Many claim that Christianity is the White Man’s religion and that the Church isn’t doing anything to help the plight of people of color. This may be a part of the reasons why our Brothers in the Battle Rap scene come up against such hostility. We’ve never really seen anyone defend the Church or debate in a public setting like this… until now. Loso is no stranger to battling opposing worldviews as he’s battled Xcel, a 5 percenter, and handled himself well. The crowd was shaking for both emcees and the internet is seemingly split on who they believe won the bout. A very important conversation was had publicly and can be viewed below. Who do you think won the battle? Which Round/Rounds did Loso win? Was this his best battle to date? Let us know in the comments!
