“And I run toward the goal to take the victory of the calling of God from on high in Yeshua The Messiah” Phillipians 3:14. This verse really made me think. In this walk, we cannot grow weary. God is our strength, and He desires for us to press on even when circumstances do not seem very favorable. Jesus is calling us up to Him so that we may have a perspective that aligns with His. That we may see that God is working our life out for our good and His glory.
This week, I just simply want to encourage us all to really press and dig into God’s heart for us. That even when life is getting the best of us, we have a firm hope in Christ because He has such an amazingly detailed purpose for us that will bring out the best in us. I want to highlight in the scripture that it says that the calling God has for us is victory. When we walk in victory because of the finished work of Jesus, that is where our purpose lies. Victory is the position in which we live.
Essentially, each and every one of us has purpose for why we are here on earth. We all have a calling that has been given to us, and we are chosen bearers of such gifts. I want us all to really seek God for what our calling is, and that we would depend on the Lord to help us run after the calling He has for us.
Much love,
Ryan W.
