1 Corinthians 3:16– “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
This verse really helps put God’s presence in perspective for me. As we decide to live for God/Christ, we become a vessel for Him. We become a temple. We become that place that our Holy God lives in. As I am reminded of this, it makes me want to keep my house clean. It makes me want to cut off ungodly relationships, whether it be a person, place or thing that I put as an idol or anything that can harm my dwelling place for Him. Have a Mirror Moment with yourself about your spiritual house/dwelling place for God:
- Is my house clean enough for God to visit?
- Do I have too much company in my house?
- How is my house decorated?
So, make sure you are doing some house maintenance and understand that you are His dwelling place. Spread The Soup!
