Acts 22:15– “For you will be a witness for him to everyone of what you have seen and heard.”
There is something so interesting about the requirement from this verse. There is a requirement for you to be a witness when you have been to church for 20 years and know all the verses. Wait…. scratch that requirement, because it doesn’t say that. There is a requirement for you to be in the choir or be an elegant speaker. Wait… scratch that requirement, because it doesn’t say that. The verse simply says “you will be a witness.” What is your responsibility or requirement to do as a witness? To simply tell people of the things that you have seen and heard of what God has done in your life and others. Never take your witness lightly. People will always need to hear and see your witness. Also, make sure your witness is not led by agendas or emotions, but by the Holy Spirit. Have a Mirror Moment this week and ask yourself “Are people waiting and wanting your witness?” Spread The Soup!
