Psalm 103:13– “As a father has compassion on his children, so the lord has compassion on those who fear him”
This verse gives us a very important trait that all fathers should have… compassion. Whenever his children get on his nerves, makes mistakes (big or small) or don’t live up to his standards… he should show compassion. These actions reflect how our heavenly father is towards all of as well. This Father’s day, let us be reminded of compassion and how our God loves us, gives us compassion and grace daily.
This week, take time and thank those father figures in your life that have shown you compassion and helped you get to the next point in your life and/or purpose. Whether it’s a Father, Step Father, Teacher, Pastor, Manager or Leader in your life… thank them and continue to keep them in your prayers. Spread The Soup!
