Micah Bournes grew up in Long Beach, California with other LBC natives on hip hop. It influenced his life and continued to cultivated his God given gifts for what he eventually would walk into completely of speaking globally about Christ through, spoken word, the music he writes and rap. When Micah was away at college earning his bachelor’ s degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, he began to write music. His music started out in hip hop and as he tells us in his interview, has gone to blues as well.
Micah started spoken word after hearing various spoken word artist one night stand up and share “their most private thoughts, struggles, and desires. To many this sounds terrifying but.. Micah was hooked.” That very day Micah gave spoken a go, and it has provided for him to this day.
Micah has continued to develop his talents and shine God’s Love to others for God’s Glory as a disciple of Christ.
